Walking Through

Baby Loss

on El Camino de Santiago. Portugal/Spain, May 2026

A Journey Towards Healing

In the profound shadow of losing a baby, the path to healing often requires two things:

Solitude for reflection and Community for support.

We invite you to join a small group of bereaved parents to walk together along El Camino de Santiago in a shared journey of remembrance and renewal.

Walking has been shown to aid bereavement by improving mental health, reducing feelings of isolation, and allowing thoughts and emotions to flow freely without the pressure to "fix" them.

Who is this for?

If you have experienced any form of pregnancy or infant loss, whether it was several months or several years ago - this walk is an opportunity for deep healing. Step by step, in the company of others with a similar experience, and with professional grief support.

Why El Camino de Santiago?

This ancient trail has drawn pilgrims for centuries, offering a space where physical steps mirror inner progress, helping to process the deep emotions of grief.

The Camino de Santiago, in particular, transforms grief through its rhythmic pace and scenic beauty, teaching surrender to uncertainty and turning personal sacrifice into meaningful growth.

As you traverse coastal paths, rolling hills and quaint villages, the journey encourages honouring lost loved ones while fostering connections with others who understand the pain of baby loss.
